Custom quilting on the "Big Bang"

It's really exciting to try new quilting techniques and have them turn out, (as long as you don't look too close)!

This is a gorgeous red/white quilt made by Ann.  Figuring out what to quilt is sometimes the hardest part of quilting and thankfully Ann is open to whatever I feel like quilting for her!  So…I made curved diamonds.  And RED thread….lovely stuff!

I love this pattern.  It's the "Big Bang", a quilt that many here locally have made in a class taught by Edie Walker.  (and I see I didn't flatten out the quilt all the way for this pic!)

Such a fun progression of fabrics!

I'm not perfect yet but learned a lot on this one.

  1. Looking Good to me! That's one class I haven't taken from Eddie! She makes it look so easy.

  2. Thanks, Mary! It's a great class. I highly recommend it! One of these days I will quilt my own big bang!
